Hello my name is Christina Pereira or most of you know me as K, Kj or Kjherstin [Kirsten]. I was born in Sydney, Australia and left when I was 16 to live in Portugal. Currently I live with my boyfriend: =eggy in the Netherlands for almost 2 years now.

I started my journey in graphics soon after I got my first Sony Ericsson mobile phone, the first truly skinable phone at the time. As the years progressed, I had the need to make my own wallpapers as permission was not always granted for me to use them for my themes.

I used to be an art student, studying Art and Design but back in that time, computers were not available in the 90s at my high school and thus it was not quite what I had in mind, so I decided to study Biotechnology. Now I only need to finish Molecular Biology to finish my degree. There is one problem with scientific jobs here and that is that they are not all that easy to find in some European countries, unless you know where to look and are lucky. So, I am currently unemployed. Strange because I do not restrict my options for a job and wouldn't mind an office job...oh well
