The Snow Dance

I hear shuddering noises
howling and fierce
then a mumble
a cry for longing
a glint of hope...
gone...
no one notices.

The wind repeats it's efforts
hopefully some will see
howling and fierce
then a mumble
a convulsion
white tears are shed
snow tears
rugged and cruel
but beautiful
beautiful as snow can seem.

The fierceness grows
the snow does it's dance
more howling
a distant cry
a desperate plea for help
no one knows
no one notices...

Beautiful and white
cold and alone
it dances.
Do you see?
You cannot see!
I cry out.
Help me!
See my pain.

White.
Beautiful.
Redundant.
Jobless.
Can you not see?
