retro
Don't you just love the bold shapes and colours of the 60s? Why not give your journal that 60s retro feel? Well with this journal you can! [link]
polaroids
Did you know?
Did you know that the first polaroid camera was invented by Edwin Land and sold by November 1948.

About it, you know my opinion yet. Love it
It may sound difficult to comprehend but you can see it visually here [link]
Not to compliment you, but the day I get my premium, one of the first thing I did was to try your journal skins, which i was unable before. I just like their classy look.
Did you learn to code by yourself? Sorry if Im too curious, I dont want to bother you, say me if I do.
Thanks for the link. Bookmarked now
To answer to your question, back in the days that I was theming for Sony Ericsson phones in 2006, deviantart started this journal customization craze, it was around october 2006 when it all started. People like `nyssi and `mynti were offering journal templates and guides to learn it, they were the first to try this new feature as `nyssi was admin staff back then and `mynti was a member of the Creative staff. Thanks to `nyssi, I was able to understand how to code and slowly started making my own journals along with =badboythemer. It seems he stopeed along the way and only got commissions while I was sharing all my journals with the public as I learned more and more until I became a serious coder for deviantART journals. Just like theming, it's addictive but more fun!
I later discovered after a competition on deviantART where you had to code a CSS journal without images that coding is actually an art in itself. So while many people make their mockups in Photoshop and code for it, I do it in reverse, I code it bare and use Photoshop for my colour picker and after I have coded most part of the journal, I make the images or edit pictures in Photoshop to add to the journal.
So you see, I started way back in 2006. I am constantly searching for new codes on google or trying new things that `thespook and `xork may share to try on deviantART. I'm sure that you as a themer would probably like coding too one day, who knows? CSS designing is a much bigger canvas than a mobile phone, more challenging too.
May I ask you if there is something on dA you would recommend to read, and learn first?
Once again, thanks Christina
